The Magic Paintbrush

In a village in China lived Ma Liang, a poor boy who dreamed of painting. As he had no brushes, he drew with a little stick in the sand.

One night, a magical old man gave him a special brush and said: «Use it with a good heart».

Ma Liang discovered something amazing: everything he painted with that brush came to life! He painted birds that flew and streams that ran.

With his brush he helped his neighbors: he painted ploughs for the fields, blankets for the cold and food for the hungry.

A greedy man tried to take the brush to make himself rich, but the brush only obeyed someone with a good heart. Ma Liang kept painting, always, to help others.
