Beauty and the Beast

Beauty was a kind young woman who lived with her father. One day, her father got lost in the forest and took shelter in an enchanted castle, where a Beast lived, fearsome in looks but sad at heart.

Over a rose her father picked from the garden, the Beast grew angry. To save him, Beauty offered to stay at the castle in his place.

At first, Beauty was afraid. But day after day, she discovered the Beast was kind, shy and generous. They walked, read and laughed together.

When Beauty had to leave to care for her father, the Beast, sad, let her go. But Beauty realized how much she missed him and ran back to the castle.

Seeing her arrive, the Beast smiled with joy, and a spell broke: he turned into a gentle-eyed prince. Beauty had learned to see the beauty that truly matters: the one inside.
