The night Lua couldn't sleep

It was deep into the night and everyone was asleep… but Lua, the little moon, wasn't sleeeepy at all.

She tossed and turned on her cloud: flip, flop, flip, flop. Until her friend, the little star Destello, opened one eye and whispered:

«What if we go and find the sleepiest things in the whole world?»

They flew slowly to the sea. The waves came and went, very soft: shhhh… shhhh….

The sea told her softly: «Here, I give you my sway. It's perfect for rocking».

Lua rocked once, and again, and again… and let out a little aaah of delight.

Then they went to the forest. There, a very kind owl sang softly: hoo… hoo….

The owl told them: «This is my lullaby. Keep it in your pocket and hum it whenever you want to sleep».

Lua tucked it away carefully, so it wouldn't escape.

Back on her cloud, Lua gathered all her gifts: the sway of the sea and the lullaby of the owl.

She rocked gently, hummed very softly… and then came a yawn so biiig: aaaaah.

«Good night, Lua», whispered Destello. But Lua was already asleep, with a little smile on her face.
