Aladdin and the Magic Lamp

In a faraway city lived Aladdin, a poor but kind-hearted boy. One day, a cunning sorcerer tricked him into entering a secret cave to fetch an old lamp.

Inside, besides the lamp, Aladdin found treasures sparkling everywhere. But when the sorcerer didn't get the lamp, he left Aladdin trapped in the cave.

Frightened, Aladdin rubbed the lamp by accident… and poof!, out came a huge, friendly genie: «I am the genie of the lamp. I'll grant whatever you wish».

With the genie's help, Aladdin got out of the cave and became generous to everyone: he helped the poor and shared what he had. So he won the love of the princess and the whole city.

When the sorcerer tried to get the lamp back by trickery, Aladdin's cleverness and kindness defeated him. And he understood that the greatest treasure wasn't gold, but a good heart.
