Snow White

Once upon a time there was a princess with skin white as snow and rosy cheeks, whom they called Snow White. She was so sweet that everyone loved her.

Her stepmother, the queen, had a magic mirror she asked who was the fairest. One day the mirror answered: «Snow White». Full of envy, the queen wanted her gone, and Snow White went deep into the forest.

Walking among the trees, she found a small, tidy cottage. Inside lived seven dwarfs who worked in the mountains. Seeing how good she was, they took her in with love and became great friends.

The queen discovered Snow White was still safe and, in disguise, offered her an enchanted apple. As she tasted it, the girl fell into a sleep so deep she seemed never to wake.

The dwarfs, sad, cared for her with all their love. Until one day a prince arrived who, on seeing her, gave her a kiss full of tenderness, and Snow White opened her eyes.

The envious queen went away forever, and Snow White lived happily, never forgetting her seven little friends.
