The Boy Who Cried Wolf

A young shepherd watched his flock on a hillside. Bored, he decided to play a trick.

«The wolf is coming, the wolf is coming!», he shouted. The villagers came running to help him… but there was no wolf. The shepherd laughed and laughed.

He found it so funny that he did it again another day. Once more everyone came, and once more they found it was a lie.

But one afternoon a real wolf appeared, prowling among the sheep. «Help, the wolf!», the shepherd shouted with all his might.

This time, the villagers thought it was another trick and nobody came. The shepherd understood, too late, what happens when you lie.
