Hansel and Gretel

Hansel and Gretel were two siblings who lived near a great forest. One day they wandered so deep among the trees that they got lost.

Clever Hansel had been dropping little white pebbles that shone in the moonlight. But that night the clouds hid them, and the siblings had to look for shelter.

Walking on, they found something amazing: a little house made of chocolate, biscuits and sweets! Hungry, they tried a piece.

In the house lived a greedy witch who wanted to keep them. But Gretel was cleverer: with a trick she shut the witch in the pantry and freed her brother.

In the house they found a chest of coins and jewels, and took it so they'd never go without again.

Following the birdsong, the siblings finally found the way back. Their father hugged them, happy, and they never parted again.
