Mulan

In ancient China lived Mulan, a brave and clever young woman who loved her family dearly.

When the emperor called for one soldier from each home, Mulan's father was old and ill. To protect him, Mulan decided to go in his place.

She cut her hair, dressed as a soldier and set off on her horse. In the army she trained hard and earned everyone's respect for her courage.

With intelligence and bravery, Mulan helped her people through very hard times, without anyone knowing her secret.

When she came home, everyone discovered who the brave soldier was: Mulan! Her family hugged her, so proud. Love had given her all her courage.
