Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Traditional tale
In a forest lived a girl with golden curls whom everyone called Goldilocks. One day, out walking, she found a little house and, as the door was open, went in without asking.
On the table were three bowls of soup. She tasted the biggest: too hot. The middle one: too cold. The little one was just right, and she ate it all up.
She looked for somewhere to sit. The big chair was too hard, the middle one too soft, and the little one perfect… until it broke under her weight.
Feeling sleepy, she went up to the bedroom. The big bed was too high, the middle one too fluffy, but the little one was so comfy she fell asleep.
After a while the owners came back: Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear. Seeing the soup, the chairs and the bed, they knew someone had been there.
Baby Bear found Goldilocks asleep. She woke up frightened and ran home. From then on she learned not to touch what isn't hers without asking.
…and they all lived happily ever after. 🌙
