Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of lua(the «service»), a website and app of children's stories. By using lua or subscribing, you accept these terms.

1. Who we are

The service is provided by Sergio Domínguez Vidales (Tax ID 05462112A), contact luakidscuentos@gmail.com. lua is meant to be used by adults (parents or guardians) together with their children; the subscription is purchased by an adult.

2. Your account

To access subscription features you sign in (for example, with your Google account). You are responsible for keeping access to your account and for the activity carried out with it.

3. Free and premium content

Some content is free and some requires a premium subscription. We may change which content is free or premium, and add or remove stories and sounds.

4. Subscription, prices and renewal

  • Premium is offered as a monthly (€3.49) and an annual (€34.99) plan. Prices include VAT.
  • A free trial(e.g. 7 days) may be offered. If you don't cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and is charged automatically.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before renewal.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your account («Manage subscription», which opens the billing portal). You keep premium access until the end of the period already paid.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

As an EU consumer you have 14 days to withdraw. However, as this is digital content with immediate access, by starting to use the premium content you request and agree that the service begins immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been fully provided. 7. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By subscribing you authorize the recurring charges for your plan.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use lua for personal and family purposes, without copying, redistributing, bulk-downloading or reselling the stories, narrations or sounds.

9. Intellectual property

lua's original stories, its characters (Lua, Lume and Destello), illustrations and narrations are owned by lua and protected. Some classic tales are adaptations of public-domain works.

10. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the service available, but interruptions may happen. We may update these terms; continued use after a change means acceptance.

11. Liability

lua is provided «as is», with the greatest possible care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages. Nothing here limits consumer rights granted by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. As a consumer you may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform. Please contact us first at luakidscuentos@gmail.com.
